12th April 2008 Windsurfing: Felixstowe-Fludyers Wind Direction: WSW-SW Wind Stength: 18 up and down Surf / Sea State: OK Air Temperature: 10 Sea Temperature: 8.5 Weather: cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered: Started around mid day and sailed until after 4pm with long rests in between whent eh wind dropped. For me was best early on with 6m; a little up and down but not too bad a couple 100 metres out. Then changed board and sail to 7m; I'd got a smaller 42cm fin for the 7m and was much more manageable than the 50cm fin with 7m. Wind picked up again so back on on 6m until it dies again. Got cold so packed up, then needless to say the wind picked up to be best of the day, but all nine of us were cold on our way home. Enjoyed the day |
